Today's Action Figure Adventures review is Jen and the Landstrider from the Dark Crystal  Reaction line. Another fun ReAction series based on a classic 80's movie. This set is part of the Summer Con series. There will be other Dark Crystal figures available on single cards.

Had to share this episode of Blind Bag Mini Figure Madness. My buddy Pixel Dan is rocking his SEO Toy Review t-shirt! Keep up the fun videos Dan & Stina.

Can't wait for Retro Con!

Retro Con 2016 is this weekend in Oaks, Pennsylvania (Sept. 24th & 25th 2016) at the Greater Phully Expo Center. I enjoy this event every year. Hanging out with friends, buying toys, and meeting the celebrity guests. In the picture below, Baby Skeletor is with three of the items I hope to get signed at the show this year. Cam Clarke who voice Leonardo in the original Ninja Turtles cartoon will be there, I hope to get his to sign my 200x He-Man, who he also voiced. In the middle is the Filmation Skeletor from MattyCollector. I want to get old bone-head signed by his voice actor, Alan Oppenheimer. The third toy in the photo is Krang from Ninja Turtles an the man behind his crazy voice, Pat Fraley will be there as well.

I'm getting super pumped. Other guests at the show include youtubers Jame Rolfe, the Angry Video Game Nerd and Andre Meadows from Black Nerd Comedy. Ted Dibiase who wrestled as The Million Dollar Man will be there as well as a few other local groups and celebrities If you want more information, check out their website..

Women of DC Comics: Legion of Collectors Box

Ryan and I dig into the September Legion of Collector's box. This month's theme is Women of DC Comics. We get some fun toys and merchandise based on some heroic and villainous ladies.

Ghostbusters Marshmallow Ray Stantz - Diamond Select

Here's a look at the Diamond Select Marshmallow Ray Stantz from Ghostbusters. This is a fun Comic Con exclusive repaint of Ray. I picked him up from ToysRUs.com.   He's got some great sculpting and really looks like Dan Ackroyd. Check out the video review below.

Retro Con 2016 (Commercial)

One of my favorite conventions of the year is Retro Con. In anticipation of this event, here is this years stop motion animated commercial. Guests this year include Cam Clarke (Leonardo & 2000's He-Man), Alan Oppenheimer (Skeletor), Pat Fraley (Brave Starr & Krang), The Million Dollar Man, the Angry Video Game Nerd, Black Nerd Comedy and more.

Once again this year the majority of the commercial takes place in the parking lot outside the convention center as various pop culture characters arrive for the show.  Krang and Skeletor are trying to sneak into the show.

8-Bit Eric Vlog

I don't usually post a lot of other people's videos on here but I was hanging out with 8-Bit Eric yesterday. He's a video game based YouTuber from Texas. He's here in the Philadelphia area for a couple days so we got a chance to hang out and shoot some videos. I don't show up in his vlog until half way through because I was at work during the day. I show up around the 4 minute mark of the video. Eric was blown away by my buddy Paul's video game basement. This vlog doesn't do it justice. Paul is getting ready to be a vendor at Retro Con so there are boxes everywhere. (I will mention there is some potty mouth in this video)

Two Year Anniversary of SEO Toy Review

For the past two years I have been putting a lot of attention into my Youtube Channel. It's been so much fun and today we have a special episode in honor of that Anniversary. This episode has an extended introduction featuring many of the people who have helped us along the way. In honor of some of those really rough videos from the first weeks of the channel, Heather is reviewing Paw Patrol and I'm reviewing Ninja Turtles.

Paw Patrol - Air Rescue Chase
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows - Polaris Slingshot with Michelangelo.

Thanks to everyone who's watched, commented, or shared any of our videos. It's all much appreciated.

Marvel Legends Phoenix

He's our revie of the Marvel Legends Phoenix figure from the Juggernaut Build-A-Figure wave. I try to avoid the larger scale figures like Marvel Legends and the Star Wars Black Series. I'm just a 4" action figure guys. Then they put of this X-Men wave and I caved. I haven't bought them all yet, but I haven't seen them all at retail yet.

He-Man Collection from the Flea Market Sort with Mike Matei

My buddy Paul recently bought a enormous amount of action figures at the flea market. Today Mike Matei from Cinemassacre and I take a look at these He-Man figures. There are toys from the original vintage line as well as the 200x Masters of the Universe line. Lots of fun stuff here.

The Ultimate Loot Crate (Dream Crate)

Over the past several years I've opened a lot of subscription boxes. Some off camera, but many of them on camera for my youtube channel. I recently was thinking about what would I put in my own personal Loot Crate subscription box if I could control what was inside.

Theme: Good & Evil
Every subscription box needs a theme, but I didn't want to limit myself to just one word. I felt like Good & Evil is classic and avoids the word versus. Have you ever noticed that the most fun episodes of a TV show are when the Hero and the Villain have to work together to defeat some super evil power. Good and Evil don't always have to be at each other's throats.

T-Shirt: Soundwave by Geek Boy Press
Just like the monthly theme, you need a monthly t-shirt. I decided to go the evil root and I would include a shirt with art of the Transformers villain Soundwave by Geek Boy Press.

Funko Pop! Vinyl: Exclusive Black Power Ranger with Dragon Shield
The next item that always seems to fit into the subscription box formula is an item from Funko. I recently picked up the newest Mighty Morphin Power Ranger Pops and I really like them. So in my ultimate box there would be a fun variant of the Black Ranger wearing the Dragon Shield to represent good. I was so amazed when  Tommy lent Zack the shield 23 years ago.

Magnet: Star Wars - Han Solo in Carbonite
I think a cool looking Han Solo in Carbonite magnet would look great on the fridge. Aside from the look of Vader, the Stormtoopers, and the main droids, I feel like Han in Carbonite  is one of the most interesting and iconic designs in the Star Wars world. The Empire Strikes Back has one of the most interesting power dynamics between good and evil in film. From Luke's vision in the swamps of Dagobah to his final conflict on Bespin and the struggle the Rebels have with the Empire on Hoth and in the Cloud City.

Art: Kelley Jones: Batman & the Joker Art Print
I have always loved the work of comic book artist Kelley Jones. It's so rich with details but totally weird in a wonderful way. To go with the theme I'd pick something showcases Batman and the Joker. Below is an example of some awesome artwork he created with frequent collaborator Inker John Beatty.

Key Chain: Cobra Logo from GI Joe
The final item in my dream crate would represent the world of GI Joe. One of my all time favorite franchises. The action figures from the 80's have always been my favorite. The cartoon was great, unfortunately the movies have only been okay. We'll go with the Cobra logo because it's more interesting than the Joe's logo and we have to balance out the good guys.

Okay, now it's your turn. What theme and items would you choose if you were putting together your own Dream Crate subscription for Loot Crate? You can tell me about it in the comments below, or leave a link to your own post in the comments.
