MPC Astronauts

Today's post is about little plastic Astronauts made by a company called MPC (Multiple Plastics Corporation). There are half a dozen different styles. Some had walkies-talkies, scientific instruments, and tools. There was even a figure that didn't have a base, kind of like the cowboy and Indian figures that could ride the plastic horses. They all came molded in Red, White, and Blue. I know the ones pictured below don't accurately reflect the diversity of the figures. These are the only ones I had laying around, The rest are in a giant barrel of Green Army Men in my parent's basement. I also had some funny playset type stuff that I used with these astronauts. I don't know if they came with them or not.

I'm not going to get a post up tomorrow. I'm leaving to go to my 16th They Might Be Giants (my favorite band) concert straight from work tomorrow. I'll try to get something posted on Saturday.
