In the early 90's I sold off most of my childhood toys to focus on collecting GI Joes and Star Wars toys. He-Man and the rest of the Masters were bagged up with their weapons and sold at the local flea market. I bought this He-Man online after MOTU Classics reinvigorated my interest in MOTU.
As a kid I used to run around with my role-play power sword shoved down the back of my shirt pretending to be Prince Adam. Then I'd raise that magic sword and say...
By the power of Grayskull...
I have the power!
My first He-Man figure as a kid was the battle armor version as well.I was about 5 or 6 then.I also remember my buddy raffling off his battle armor He-Man during recess in the 4th grade and me winning it :)
ReplyDeleteI have this one too! Just missing his weapons.
ReplyDeleteWhich accessories are you missing?
DeleteMissing his Shield, Ax and Sword.
DeleteI've been setting stuff aside to send you a package of goodies when I get my license back. I'll include the extra shield I have for you.
DeleteReally? That's so awesome of you thanks my friend. : )
DeleteLove that figure!
ReplyDeleteSadly as a teen I gave all of my MOTU figures, playlets and vehicles.
We recently found this one at the flea market, in great condition but minus the accessories.
And I am adding your blog to our list!!!!
