Walmart Blue Ranger Then & Now 2-Pack

Walmart Blue Ranger Then & Now 2-Pack includes a Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger and a 2017 Movie Blue Ranger. I really like these Mighty Morphin Power Ranger figures. The movie figures are exactly like the single card releases. MMPR Billy comes with his Blade Blaster in blaster modes and his Power Lance which comes in to pieces. The movie Billy comes with an effect that he can hold in his hand to look like he's punching.

Power Rangers 2017 Review

Here's my thoughts on the Power Rangers 2017 Movie. The review starts off spoiler free. Towards the end (I made it clear ahead of time) I do talk a little bit about Spoilers. Let me know down below if you checked out Power Rangers over the weekend.

Power Rangers Movie (2017)

I just saw Power Rangers this morning. I really, really enjoyed it. It's not cheesy like the original and that's okay. I did miss the rubber monster and Megazord suits, because I love that kind of movies. The CGI looked fine, but it's not really my thing. What they did best in this movie was to make you care about the Rangers. I think this film was a great start to a new Power Rangers movie series.

I plan to shoot a video so, keep an eye on SEO Toy Review for more thoughts. Let me know in the comments below what you thought of the movie, if you saw it?

Walmart Power Rangers Red Ranger Then & Now 2-Pack

I recently picked up the Walmart Power Rangers Red Ranger Then & Now 2-Pack. We get a Mighty Morphin Red Ranger and 2017 Movie Red Ranger figure in the same pack. I bought these for the MMPR Red Ranger. I already have a single pack of the Movie Ranger.

Nightmare Before Christmas ReAction

Today we look at three more ReAction figures by Funko based on the Nightmare Before Christmas. These are good looking figures, but are perhaps too well detailed to fit the ReAction vibe. Check out my video review for my thoughts on Oogie Boogie, Wolfman, and Clown with the Tear Away Face.

Flea Market Finds - Warhammer 40,000 (Games Workshop)

From Middle School through the part of College my group of best friends and I played Warhammer 40,000 all the time. Later girlfriends and stop motion animation would distract us from playing this Sci-Fi table top battle game. Each one of us had our own army of models and I LOVED painting and modifying the miniatures. Basically the only thing I did with my free time in High School was paint Warhammer models and make custom GIJoe figures. At the flea market one week a guy had a bunch of these models made by Games Workshop. He was asking someone else if they knew what they were. I chimed in and the guy asked me if I'd give him $20 for them. SOLD!

NJCC Toy Haul 3/12/17

New Jersey Collectors Convention (aka NJCC) just had their March show on 3/12/17 and it's time to check out my Haul. As usual my buddy, Nick, and I went to show in Cherry Hill and paid for early admission. We met up with Rose & Tony who run Retro Con as well as our friend Mike. We walked around the show several times and found lot of goodies. I picked up a bunch of Power Rangers items, some vintage GI Joe packaging, Marshal BraveStarr and a Real Ghostbuster figure. Check out the video below for all the details.

Top 100 Toy Blogs!?!?!?

So I got an email today informing me that Action Figure Adventures was named to a list of the Top 100 Toy Websites and Blogs for Kids, Parents & Toy Industry Pros. I'm blown away. This blog has done so much for me and been so rewarding over the years. To be put on a list like this and in the company of so many of these other sites I can't really express how it makes me feel. I'm very proud of the work I've put into this blog and it has led to other cool projects like SEO Toy Review on YouTube. I think that this award will also motivate me to produce more posts uniquely for the blog. As the work load for SEO has increased the number of blog posts have been reduced. I'm going to crack the whip and get Baby Skeletor back to work. It's time to get this blog back into shape.

DIY - Mini Figure Shelves

I love finding fun ways to display toys. Here is one solution I have to displaying mini figures. I hang California Job Cases on the wall and use them to show off fun figures. California Job Cases are draws used to hold metal type used on old fashion printing presses.
