Fifth Element ReAction figures

The Fifth Element is a movie that I've scene dozens of time over the years. If I flipping channels and it's on... I'm hooked. So when Funko announced Fifth Element figures as part of their Reaction line I knew I needed to get them. The line included Lee-Loo, Korben, the Diva and handful of other characters.

Sssqueeze & Multi-Bot - MOTUC

Sssqueeze and Multi-Bot just arrived from MattyCollector this week. These to Masters of the Universe Classics figures help bring two more vintage figures into the new series. Both feature great sculpting and appropriate accessories.

Sssqueeze has his purple snake staff and has his bendy arm action feature.

Multi-Bot comes apart and can be recombined into almost countless different configurations if combined with Modulok. He includes his two blasters that can be combined to form a larger gun.

Check out my video review below for more details.

Sarah Connor - Terminator ReAction

Sarah Connor, possibly the most important person in the Terminator universe has been cast in plastic as part of the ReAction line from Funko. I actually picked up this figure last summer at the FYE store event I was a part of. I didn't want to flood Action Figure Adventures with ReAction posts, so I still have some of these to show off.

Sarah is sculpted with her big 80's style hair and has nice paint apps on her striped shirt. I can't say she's the most exciting figure, but she grows up to be a real bad ass in T2. She's a pretty basic figure with no accessories, but I felt like I need someone for the Terminator and Kyle to fight over.

Lex Luthor - DCUC vs MOTUC

I have to start by saying that I love this Lex Luthor figure. He is so well detailed. Lex is just incredible. I got this figure as part of a DC Universe Classics vs Masters of the Universe Classics two pack. Lex Luthor came packaged with Skeletor the bad guys for MOTUC.

I had Lex Luthor in his power armor back in the day from the Super Powers line, but this updated figure is so much more intimidating. He did come with some kryptonite fragments as accessories but they are not pictured here.

80's Monster Erasers - Diener Industires

As a kid I had tons of monster mini-figures. Monsters in My Pocket were popular, but I also had a lot of Diener Monster Erasers. I don't really even know how I got them. I don't remember getting packs of them. I just sort of acquired them somehow. Maybe party favors or something. I'm doing this post today because my childhood best friend (Derek) had tons of these things, and today is his birthday.

Furry Cyclops (kind of a one eyed Hoth Wampa) and Bug Man (Buzz-Off from He-man?)

Man-Bat and Swampthing

Unicorn and Centar

Lizardman

Alien

Pterodactyl (not sure if this was from a different company)

Firefly v1 - GIJoe '84

Firefly, the most terroristic of all of Cobra's Terrorists. This sabatour is one of the best figures sculpt and accessory wise from the early years of the line. Rivaled only by Storm Shadow. Firefly is dressed in a gray camo outfit and mask and come with a gun, phone, and demolition kit backpack. My gun and phone (pictured below) come from a weapons pack. They should really be green.

Firefly was an awesome figure  and Larry Hama really gave him some interesting storylines in the comic. He was a lot different in the newest GIJoe film, but I still enjoyed him.

Gulper Ghost (Egon) - The Real Ghostbusters

Egon Spengler was the first, and for a long time, and only Real Ghostbuster figure I had. His included mini-ghost, Gulper Ghost, served as both Slimer and and a ghost for Egon to bust. I actually used Gulper as Slimer most of the time when I played even after I had a large collection due to the fact that he was an appropriate size when compared to the Ghostbusters.

I also liked how you could stick this guy over the heroes heads. I often pretended he would slime the Busters by placing him on them like a helmet. It was fun to see their eyes peak out of his mouth.

Legacy Black & Pink Rangers - Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie

A while back I posted reviews of many of the Legacy Power Ranger figures from Toy R Us. I finally got my hands on the Pink and Black Rangers. Time to check them out along with the rest of the team.

Look out Rangers! Ivan Ooze is gonna get ya.

Night Stalker - Vintage Masters of the Universe

Night Stalker is the evil counter part to Stridor the heroic robotic horse. These two robots are exactly the same besides their paint schemes. He's armed with two forward facing cannons and a rear cannon. Night Stalker's gold, black, and purple color scheme is far more striking than Stridor's paint.

My Night Stalker has his tail, but his missing his helmet. Night Stalker has some really great detailing on his legs, but unfortunately they are totally static.

Some "gift sets" included Jitsu, similarly to the Fisto and Stridor gift sets. I really liked both robo-horses as a kid.

Kyle Reese - Terminator ReAction

I've had Kyle Reese in my collection for a while now, but just had not posted about this Terminator hero. Kyle is the soldier sent back in time to protect (an impregnate?) John Connor's mother. Did John know this... that he had to send this guy... because it's weird.

This figure is dressed in a gray shirt, blue jeans, sneakers, and a soft goods trench coat. I was glad to see a fabric accessory in this line. I kind of hope at some point we get a vinyl cape on someone to give it the 70's Kenner feel.

Kyle Reese comes with a shotgun and a pistol. It's also cool that they sculpted a lot of good details on this figure. The striped texture on his shirt is sculpted in and I like that they included the bandages from when he is injured. Like most of the ReAction figures he don't real capture the likeness of the actor, but they aren't trying to.
