Wolverine on the loose

I liked playing with my Toy Biz X-Men figures in the snow as a kid. I even had an Iceman break in he bitter cold snow one time. Wolverine is one my favorite "winter" X-Men. I think it's because of the classic art of him escaping from the Weapon-X facilities. Speaking of which, here is a photo of the Weapon-X version of Wolverine. This figure originally came with a belt, helmet, and some extra hoses.  I always liked that this figure had knees and elbow joints. Not all the figures from the line were as well articulated.

Here Sabertooth and Wolverine battle it out in the snow. I was kind of going for the image from the 2nd series of X-Men trading cards. That series had a some cool battle images that could be formed when two cards were placed next to each other.

    1. But....I have to tell ya...I like much better the GI Joe sized Marvel Universe line currently out. Those Toybiz figures were fun no doubt but to be able to interact with Star Wars and GI Joe is better.

    2. Oh yeah, the new smaller Marvel figures are great because of their small scale.

    3. I had all the figures from the first few waves. I eventually sold off just about all of them. I originally had the Weapon-X figure, but the one pictured above was given to me by a friend in college who was getting rid of a bunch of his toys. He gave them to me because he liked my stop motion show Animation Creation on our college's station.

    1. I really wanted the first version of Sabertooth as a kid, but couldn't find him. Later when this version came out I was okay with missing the original.
